Just got back from another year of Flypa. Flypa is held on the Island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Some acro paragliding, speed flying, wingsuits and other crazyness were happening daily at the show. The crowd was amazed at the speed flying wing cut-away to BASE jump, new for this year. The Spanish Air Force again provided an awesome T-19 military aircraft for us to jump out of. Video coming soon!
Took a short 24 hours trip to Florida yesterday with Carson to gather some footage and practice for the upcoming Six Flags Airshow that we are organizing in June. Enjoy the footage. Click below to watch Jesus and Wingsuits.
Had the chance to speed fly for the Dynastar Spring Daze event at Snowbird last week. It was a nice run off Baldy in between fog banks. Click below to watch Chasing Shadows @ Snowbird
Had the chance today to go jet skiing on Utah lake it was 68 degrees out, but the water was cold, so I decided to add some flying into the equation. Big thanks to Del, Russ, Carson and JJ for helping out. Click below to watch the legendary jet ski – paramotor – single parachute skydive.
We are half way through our 2009 Chamonix speed flying tour! Everyone has been enjoying flights from both the Aiguille du Midi and the Brevant. Mattt Gerdes, Carson Klein, Steve Mayer, Mike Steen, Cade Palmer and Kevin Hintze are showing the other members of the tour the ropes here in the Chamonix Valley. The weather is forecasted to change, but then the skiing should be good. Salud!
The Ozone Team travelled down to the Salton Sea Paramotor Fly-In for the weekend in California. Mike Steen, Steve Mayer, Kevin Hintze and Wade Hutchinson were present to show the standard motor gaper what’s up. After Kevin won the kiting war and filming the ground spiral and acro segments of the next precision flying DVD, there wasn’t much else to do besides cause havoc. The weather was beautiful every day of the event and the majority of the paramotor crew was super friendly. Next year it will be bigger and better, you should come!
Well it is official: I made it another year. The last month has been a little rough, adding a few ounces of titanium to myself. This past year has been super fun, traveling all over the globe to some of the most remote places and surrounding myself with talented athletes and good friends. This post is a big shout out to all those people that have made the last year possible, thanks.
