Mike Steen was born into a world of piloting. His parents raised him with a love for flight, taking him on his first ride in an airplane when he was 11 months old.

He has taken this love for flight and honed skills of winged sports across the spectrum. He’s disciplined in skydiving, B.A.S.E. jumping, snow kiting, paragliding, speed flying and kite boarding; often combining any number of these air sports into the ultimate rush.

Mike has been skiing since he was 4 and has married his skills on the slopes with speed flying. Traveling the world in search of the perfect spots, Mike is pioneering the way for future speed fliers. He is featured in the new speed flying documentary, “It’s Fantastic!,” currently circulating on the Banff Film Festival world tour.

Mike entertains crowds, numbering in the thousands, around the globe with his wing suit flights and dramatic stunts. He is a well-known face at air shows, B.A.S.E. jumping from paragliders and helicopters.

Co-owner of the nation’s largest paragliding facility located in Utah, Mike teaches ordinary people how to become confident and competent paraglider pilots and then sells them all the equipment and toys that they will need to keep up with him.

He has performed at air shows and demonstrations on six continents, in over 15 countries for thousands of spectators. This season will be bigger and better that last year, with demonstrations mostly in Europe but as far away as the Philippines and India, there will be no shortage of action!
