Tuesday Morning..
A Roll-Over-Chop-Suey Kinda Morning from MikeSteen.com on Vimeo.
What better to do on a Tuesday morning than roll-over a 10m Ozone Fazer (thanks Mountain Hardware) out of a hot air ballon then fly over the nearest open field, chop-suey and go back into free fall in order to deploy another parachute. The best part is only having to run a few steps to catch my speed wing as it fell back to earth.

Had a great session this morning on my new Ozone 10m Fazer. It was blowing 30+ and I’m psyched with the handling and performance of the Fazer. Thanks Mountain Hardware for the pretty new wing!

12 Days of Chaos
The past 12 days have been super crazy with a trip to Oludeniz Turkey for the 12th Annual International Airgames. Paragliding Acro, lots of rad wing suit flights from paragliders and microlights, with some super epic fly by’s and fly throughs of formations and other canopies. Kevin Hintze and Justin White were throwing down and dancing like it was 1999, it was a blur, but it was a year to remember on the Mediterranean.
5 hours home in Utah in between trips was just enough time to do some laundry and re-pack my bags. The next mission was a surprise birthday tandem skydive for a client in Key West. It was a little windy, but Scotty, Carson and Plamer had no issues making things happen. Thanks to Remo for letting us chill after the event on your dime, Sunset Key may never be the same after experiencing our crew for a night..
I’m super glad to be home for a few days and there also happens to be 6″ of snow in my backyard, which means that ski season is just around the corner!
Sapphire Round 2
Had a great weekend in Istanbul BASE jumping off the Sapphire Building. This was the second event this year from the same building. Good parties, great friends, and a few jumps. Can’t wait to come back and do it again!
Men on Wire
Matt Gerdes (matttg.com) and Mike Steen (mikesteen.com) travel to Northern Mesopotamia to BASE jump from a cable span over the Euphrates River. Special thanks to the community of Kemaliye Turkey for creating such an excellent object and for inviting us to come check it out.
